Welcome to the community! In order to jump right in and make the most of what Broad Creek Landing has to offer there's some things you'll want to do.
For starters, keep that lease handy. One of the first things you should do is get your parking situation situated! Bring that lease along with your insurance, drivers license and registrations for up to two vehiclesto the Associa offices loacated at 1040 William Hilton Parkway.
While you are there you're gonna get a parking decal to stick on the front left windshield of your cars, be sure it's visible! These decals are tied to the plate and are only for the vehicles you request. Every unit is also assigned a visitor pass, these are controlled by the unit owner. If the owner already has a pass it is up to them to decide whether or not they are going to provide it to you, you should discuss this with your landlord. Visitor passes are expensive if lost so your landlord may have thier own policy. If they do not currently have a visitor pass Associa will release it to you with the landlords permission and all the required documents. If you have a guest or some other kind of visitor such as a contractor this is what you would use to make sure they can park.
Now is also a good time to ask for the pool & bathroom codes. The pool has a keypad lock and persons without the code will be asked to leave.
Last but not least, ask for the renter packet, this will include a copy of the rules for your benefit. It will also help you to gain access to Townsq and make your move seamless.
Pro-tip: If you're new to Hilton Head Island you will want to get a pass for the garbage and reclamation center. You can find directions on how to do this on the official town website.
